About B Corps
Certified B Corporations (public benefit corporations) are businesses that meet the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, public transparency, and legal accountability to balance profit and purpose. The new business model of B Corps are accelerating a global culture shift to redefine success in business and build a more inclusive and sustainable economy.
Society's most challenging problems cannot be solved by government and nonprofits alone. The B Corp community works toward reduced inequality, lower levels of poverty, a healthier environment, stronger communities, and the creation of more high quality jobs with dignity and purpose. By harnessing the power of business, B Corps use profits and growth as a means to a greater end: positive impact for their employees, communities, and the environment.
B Corps form a community of leaders and drive a global movement of people using business as a force for good. The values and aspirations of the B Corp community are embedded in the B Corp Declaration of Interdependence.
THE B CORP DECLARATION OF INTERDEPENDENCE
We envision a global economy that uses business as a force for good.
This economy is comprised of a new type of corporation...the B Corporation; Which is purpose-driven and creates benefit for all stakeholders, not just shareholders.
As B Corporations and leaders of this new emerging type of economy, we believe:
* THAT WE MUST BE THE CHANGE WE SEEK IN THE WORLD.
* THAT ALL BUSINESSES OUGHT TO BE CONDUCTED AS IF PEOPLE AND PLACE MATTERED.
* THAT, THROUGH THEIR PRODUCTS, PRACTICES, AND PROFITS, BUSINESSES SHOULD ASPIRE TO DO NO HARM AND BENEFIT ALL.
* TO DO SO REQUIRES THAT WE ACT WITH THE UNDERSTANDING THAT WE ARE DEPENDENT UPON ANOTHER AND THUS RESPONSIBLE FOR EACH OTHER AND FUTURE GENERATIONS.
About B Corp Certification
B Corp Certification doesn't just evaluate a product or service; it assesses the overall positive impact of the company that stands behind it. And increasingly that's what people care most about.
Certified B Corporations achieve a minimum verified score on the B Impact Assessment- a rigerous assessment of a company's impact on it's workers, customers, community, and environment- and make their B Impact Report transparent on Bcorporation.net. Certified B Corporations also amend their legal governing documents to require their Board of Directors to balance profit and purpose.
The combination of third-party validation, public transparency, and legal accountability help Certified B Corps build trust and value. B Corp certification is administered by the non-profit B Lab.
Key Impact Measures
Part of the strategy of QNBC is to expand in two phases. The first phase from 2021-2025 focuses on the North American market and establishes a mature presence on the market with a mature product (Star Cube System) and Eco Pod communities. In a second phase, after 2026 we plan on expanding to the overseas market and in particular to supply the Asian and African market with the Star Cube System. In that second phase, QNBC will pursue more of a social impact strategy. In that respect, we are impacting the UN Sustainable Development Goals for instance, Goal 6: Clean Water and sanitation: “Ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all.” And Goal 7: Affordable and clean energy: “Ensure access to affordable, reliable sustainable and modern energy for all.”
MANAGEMENT TEAM AND ADVISORS
Kirk D. Bradley: Inventor and Founder
My personal vision:
“We must not only be creative in discovering and optimizing ambient resources to do good things; we must be relentless in our on-going pursuit to continue to develop low-cost, disruptive technology for the benefit of all Mankind. This technology should have the ability to positively effect life physically, mentally, and spiritually ”
With my versatile career being devoted over the years to a balanced mix of both public works and private industry branching into a wide range of business and engineering sciences I will combine those skillsets towards spearheading The Quantum Nexus project and its vision of a better world to a successful outcome.
Among many accomplishments along my journey I founded and operated a successful research, design and fabrication business for 14+ years that specialized in developing and commercializing advanced technologies. Duties required working in various capacities related to business development, project funding, joint ventures, design, pilot testing, manufacturing, construction, and operations. On one project a total of $14M USD was raised through private offerings and institutional funding along with securing associated multimillion-dollar raw material supply contracts.
I was awarded four (4) USPTO environmental patents with applications related to energy conservation, water reuse and recycling concepts and have developed many other processes along the way. I have written 2 USEPA approved Industrial Pretreatment Programs and set up developmental laboratories and fabrication facilities. I also worked with NASA as a propulsion and cryogenics operations engineer, constructed and operated three (3) municipal treatment plants ($200M USD), designed and operated various industrial plants (one which included fracking water cleanup), and recently worked in Afghanistan as a FOB Water Quality Specialist.
Christophe Faugère: Financial and Business
Why I am part of this project:
“As the old-paradigm institutions (economic, political and financial) are tittering on the edge of transformation, we must be leaders for a new pristine earth where humans are free of bondage in their material conditions, in their minds and hearts.”
Christophe Faugère obtained his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Rochester, USA, in 1993 and a Masters in Mathematical Economics in 1987 from the University of Toulouse I. He is currently Professor of Finance and Economics and director of the SEEFAR research center at the Kedge Business School, Bordeaux. Prior he was Chair of the Finance and Economics Dept. at Kedge and an Associate Professor and Chair of the Finance Department at the UAlbany School of Business, NY, USA.
His current research focuses on ethics, financial markets and monetary economics. His main research program is on models of asset valuation (gold, Treasuries, stock indexes) that combine rational and irrational investor behavior. He is the co-inventor of Required Yield Theory, one of the most accurate theory for valuing the S&P 500 and gold. He has extensively published in top tier US academic journals such as the Journal of Portfolio Management and Financial Markets, Institutions & Instruments. One of his published articles on “Sell Discipline” received extensive coverage in the New York Times and International Herald Tribune in 2004.
Cory Stover: Technology Development and Fabrication
Why I am part of this project:
“Our new approach in science must include the science of nature. Our focus upon explosive forces is ultimately inefficient and destructive. It is better to imitate the implosive force found in nature... A constructive and harmonizing force.
Cory has invented equipment that has been utilized successfully in the remediation of large bodies of polluted water in the US, Canada, Central and South America and Poland. His inventions utilize a series of bifilar wound toroidal coils, which have the effect of generating a vortex. Frequencies fit into this field create phase conjugation; a set of nested frequencies which act to restructure water at a molecular level. This involves the ordering or re-sequencing of water at the molecular level through resonance. Water then regains its charge capacity, acting as a battery in a sense, plus minus charges separated and ordered. Destructured water allows toxins to bind into its structure as a result of this disorganized patterning.
The correcting of this structure reflects the aspect of phase conjugation, which is generated through the vortex field. Properly structured water disallows the attachment of pollutants. Furthermore, it allows the absorption of energy from the environment and facilitates its transmission into the environment. Small things affect big things and water is a common element fueling both the environment of nature and ourselves. Cory earned three BA degrees and a Masters degree from the University of Iowa.
Michael Spencer: AutoCAD/Technical Advisor
Why I am part of this project:
Water, Energy and Shelter - clean & unlimited - will help enable the healing of humanity and provide a base for expansion. It is time for us to realize our potential in an unlimited universe.”
After completing a BA in Biology at the University of California, Berkeley in 1966 and an MA in Biology at San Francisco State University in 1968, Michael traveled east to New York City to begin PhD studies in Biology at New York University while teaching science full time at Ramaz Upper School on the upper east side of New York. As a PhD candidate in Biology at the University of Colorado, Boulder he worked at a teaching assistantship in Biology as well as teaching courses at Denver Community College. As a general contractor in Marin County, California, Michael specialized in custom homes. In the early 1980’s Michael attended Control Data Institute receiving training as a computer technician. This led to work with Stanford Telecommunications requiring a top-secret security clearance and finally with Smith-Klein Beckman as a field engineer maintaining DNA Sequencers, Synthesizers and HPLC equipment.
After seeing the neurotoxin effects from chemical exposure during equipment servicing, Michael returned to the construction field in the early 1990’s. Being self-taught in AutoCAD he worked for Bay Area Architects and Engineers producing working drawings in many varied construction projects, which included using structural steel, rebar, shot Crete and earth sheltered structures. Michael currently lives in one of the structures enjoying all the advantages of earth-sheltered housing. His studies in zero-point energy harvesting and bringing about an integration of a conscious living environment, involving Deep Green Technology, combined with conscious social intention he brings various unique applications and concepts to the project.
